Tidal draws lessons from Apple music cuts half prices for “Family Plan” steaming subscriptions

Tidal copies the business pattern of Apple’s book by offering special discount with “Family Plan” for multi-user households.

It is trying to attract your attention from Apple Music vs Spotify battle waging at the head of the music streaming space. And the Tidal service is going to provide you additional half-price accounts when you register.

There are two options of tiers it offers, with a £9.99 per month “Premium” option and a £19.99 per month. The later comes with hi-rest “HiFi” deal that the 50 percent discounts could amount to significant savings.

The Apple Music can offer up to six users access for a single blanket at the price of £14.99, while Tidal runs with a different pattern. Its users have to pay out for every additional user they add to their account that is similar to Spotify. The users of Tidal music will be paid full-price fees when they add accounts to the maximum.

According to its official company spokesperson, this offer is mainly for the existing users to extend value to their family members.
