What surprises will MWC 2016 bring?

The Las Vegas CES held last month just came to a close, the Mobile World congress MWC 2016 will be held on Feb 22 in Barcelona, Spain. The difference from CES exhibition is that smartphone will be a highlight in MWC 2016.

MWC

Stuff concluded some smartphones might debut in MWC, including Samsung, LG, HTC, Sony and Microsoft.

Samsung

In the past few years, Samsung made product releases for their flagship smartphones before MWC. Therefore, Galaxy S7 would be an expected smartphone at MWC.

It is rumored that Galaxy S7 will apply the body design as Galaxy S6 did. It will add a micro SD slot. Samsung might introduce Galaxy S7 Edge as well.

Besides smartphone, Samsung might debut its wearble device named SM-R150 at MWC.

LG

LG seldom releases its new smartphones at MWC in accordance with practice. It mgith make change this year as LG is invited to attend the MWC in Barcelona, Spain. The experts assumed LG will debut its LG G5 then.

Sony

Sony released Xperia Z5 series smartphone last year. Accoring to the update cycle, we will access to Xperia Z6 this year. There are not many reports concerned Z6 so far. The confirmed source indicated that Z6 series might come with 4-inch, 4.6-inch, 5.2-inch, 5.8-inch and 6.4-inch editions.

Considering Sony just released Z5 at IFA in last September, there is fewer probability to acess Z6 at MWC. But it might update its Xperia Z series iPad and smartphone.

HTC

HTC suffered a difficult time in smartphone business. It has been focusing on HTC Vive recently. It is unsure that whether HTC will introduce HTC One M 10 at MWC.

Microsoft

Microsoft had released its flagship smartphone Lumia 950 and Lumia 950XL. We might not have chance to its their new successors displayed at MWC. It is likely that it might debut the Lumia 750 /850.
