Ex Beats Music CEO Ian Rogers leaves Apple

It would be a great loss of asset to Apple that Ian Rogers is leaving the company. He was one the brains behind online radio station Beats1.

Ian Roger was ex Beats Music CEO before he was invented by Apple to join the company in last year. Now FT reports he is leaving the world giant Apple.

Ian Rogers had been working hard for the development of Beats 1. He made great performance in Beats1 since the Apple takeover it last year. And it was no doubt that his great efforts attributed to the hiring of BBC1 DJ Zane Lowe.

Here are the details for Rogers work experience. He worked in online marketing with Beastie Boys in the 90s, then he joined Yahoo’s music service in ‘00s before he established artist service company Topspin.

Ian Rogers joined Beats Music in 2013, coming with his co-founders Jummy Lovine and Dr. Dre.

Apple purchased Beats of Electronics and Beats Musics at the acquisition price of $ 3 billion in August 2014.

They singed agreement that Apple took over the audio firm’s hardware and music streaming business,while Rogers, Jimmy Lovine and Dr Dre also joined the company at the time.
