His name is Robin Lee. The community support office caught him when charging his phone and he was arrested on the platform after he got off the train.

He told the London Evening Standard that the office said he was abstracting electricity. The office was very aggressive and said it was crime doing that.

When they got off the train, there were four police officers waiting on the platform. Then the community support officer called them and claim Robin Lee has been abstracting electricity and asked for them arresting him.

Then Robin Lee was taken into custody into the station as he tried to push past the officers on the platform. He was taken to the British Transport Police HQ. He claimed that the officers should not have him arrested. The reason was ridiculous.

A British Transport Police spokesperson claimed that Lee was arrested by unacceptable behavior and he has been reported for this offence.

Even though charging phone on an Overground train could not be an arrestable offence, the public should note that the plug points on the London Transportation are for ” cleaner use not for public use”.
